Affected Products
- ESA-1001 – 1 to 2 loops Argus addressable panel
- ESA-1002 – 1 to 4 loops Argus addressable panel
- ESA-1006 – 1 to 2 loops Apollo addressable panel
- ESA-1007 – 1 to 4 loops Apollo addressable panel
- ESA-2001 – Addressable Repeater
- ESA-3007 – Esprit Network PCB with BMS integration
- ESA-3008 – New, Esprit Network Card
- Increased number of Groups
- Number of programmable groups increased from 64 to 128.
- Groups can be shared across the network
- Groups can now be shared across panels in a network, functioning as a single combined entity.
- To use this feature, all panels of a network must be upgraded to the version 1.7 and install the ESA-3007/8 network card.
- Increased Zone Numbers
- Maximum number of zones increased from 36 to 128 (selectable via panel menu).
- Shared Zones
- Zones are now network-shareable, acting as a single combined alarm zone.
- To use this feature, all panels of a network must be upgraded to the version 1.7 and install the ESA-3007/8 network card.
- Test mode and zone disablements remain local to each panel.
- New PC Configuration Software for ESA-3007
- Dedicated software for ESA-3007 network card introduced.
- Modbus network address now user-configurable (default remains 70).
- Download free software from our website.
- Network Communication Enhancements
- Network message prioritisation improved for better performance.
- Faulty network link detection algorithm updated.
- Global disablements and status distributions optimised to reduce network traffic.
- Fault summary automatically removed when no distributed faults remain.
- Updated Addressable PC Configuration Software
- Enhanced to support expanded groups and zones introduced in this release.
- Download software from our website
- Panel Name Sharing Over Network
- Panel names are now shared across the network.
- Note: This feature is supported only by the new network card (ESA-3007/8).
- Default Sounder Delay Behaviour
- All sounders now default to silent during delay activations.
- Apollo Passive Sounder Base Support
- Support added for Apollo passive (non-addressable) auxiliary sounder bases.
Note: The new network features 2, 4 and 8 are only supported by the new ESA-3007 network card. It is recommended that all the panels of a network use the latest firmware version for the display and the new ESA-3007/8 network card. However, older panels fitted with the TPCA05-ESP will continue to share data with a new panel fitted with the ESA-3007/8 network card as long as the new panel is made the master of the network.
